I already asked on the doom9.org DVD2SVCD fourmn but no real responces. I'm trying to rip a DVD -> SVCD with japanese audio and english (permanant) english subtitles. The picture is perfect but the subtitles don't display for the proper duration.
That is they start at the correct time, but stop to soon (charater is still speaking), often this is just annoying but sometimes the subs go by so fast you can't read them. Checking the permsubs.txt file I notice that several lines are only suppose to be up for 1 frame!!!
If I use VDub + VobSub the subs are perfect, so it's not the DVD. And I used the same ripped VOBs for DVD2SVCD and VDub/VobSub.
Any ideas?

Yep, got 1.0.2build4 I've actually talked with the aurthor of the program about this. I'm not the only one with this problem but not everyone seems to get it?!? Pretty odd really...
