    Hi,
    I would like to convert my powerpoint slideshow to an avi file and then convert it to vcd. pls help me how to do it?

  2. hmm... Well, if you would ask ME to do that... I'd suggest you open your presenatation, you click on FILE-SAVE AS
    As file TYP you select JPEG. What that will do is make a special map for your Slideshow, saving EVERY slide as a JPG file
    Now, you get NERO 5.5 (mail me if you're not ABLE to buy it )
    You select NEW, VIDEO CD and you select all the JPEGs (but make sure they're in the right order) Burn your VCD, put it in the DVD player and if you want to go to next slide, hit the NEXT TRACK button

    I'm not sure if you're able to make an AVI of that.. but it isn't necessary huh...

    thanks for the info but how abt the animation in power point? i saved the slideshow as jpeg image but it was all without animation...

    any further help is appreciated.

    (and yes i dont have nero 5.5... )

  4. hmm, animations.... Lemme think, yea, try exporting in stead of JPG's GIF's... I think they will carry your animations too..(i hope)

    get yourself KAZAA LITE and DLL Nero 5.5 there...
