all the guides tell me to open the d2v file with tmpgenc to encode, or open with vfapi converter........ but they both dont open the file. it is unsupported with tmpgenc and vfapi converter comes up with a res cross with the name of the d2v file. both programs dont show up the d2v file, i must type *.* then press enter, then choose from the list.

    am i missing something?

hope u can help me! its my first try

  3. your problem is that you have to install a file into the directory of vfapi converter which will let you open up a .d2v. at the moment i'm searching for the file

  4. alright dude,

    dowload this

    http://aurun.free.fr/divx/outils/dvd2avi+vfp.zip

then unzip and put DVD2AVI.vfp into the vfapi converter's directory and it will now let you open up .d2v's

    hope that helps....
