    the best i know is "streambox vcr 1.0 beta3.1"

    Use Streambox VCR if you want to capture Real type format as it's streamed to your PC.

    If you're trying to capture Windows Media (ASF WMV WMA formats) then take a look at the Hi Net Recorder freeware from

    streambox records .mov, .rm, .ra, .ram, .asf, .asx, wmf, .wmv, and wma.
    it records the stream as is. all you need is the link.
