I have tried Power VCR II and WinDVR to try and record video from my VHS through the Xstasy Everything but to no avail everytime I start recording about 1/3 of the screen is just a white square. It looks like some type of copy protection from the video. How can I overcome this problem? I appreciate the help.

This is in fact not copy protection, I thought the same thing at first! What you need to do is run 1.08 Nvidia WDM drivers, or the WMD drivers that came with your Xtasy Everything.
There's actually a lot of good info in the Xtasy guide here at:
http://www.vcdhelp.com/forum/userguides/110196.php
Keep in mind I've been using my Xtasy Everything now for many months and I've captured 1000's of hours of video. Based on my research (and what Visiontek Tech Support told me).. The best driver/WDM combination to run with this card is Nvidia Display drivers 14.61 and Nvidia WDM 1.08, with DirectX 8.1b.
If you need to get your system setup with those drivers, the 14.61 should have come with your CD. The WDM that came with your CD will work fine, but if you can find 1.08 on the net, they are better. Stay away from anything over 1.08 as they break features of the card including the remote control and mess up audio sync.
