(Windows 2000, Virtualdub 1.4.10, Divx Pro
5.0.2, lots of processor and ram)
I have an .AVI file with sound and audio
synched perfectly. I encoded the file with
DIVX (and generic MP3 audio). The video
and sound start out in synch at the
beginning of the encoded file, but the video
gets farther and farther ahead as playback
continues. Any ideas what causes this
(and how to fix it)?

In Virtual Dub, in your Options menu, did you check Synch to Audio?
Hello.
