I've read that you can import subtitles into TMPGEnc Authoring Works but can you export subtitles in srt or other formats once you have created or synched them in the program?

There actually is an "Export Subtitles" button in the subtitle editor but it only exports in the unfamiliar formats .subtitle and .xsubtitle which only TAW seems to be able to import. I changed the .subtitle extention to .srt and opened it and the subtitles are there but the timings and subtitle numbers are seperated by commas on the same line but the file does not open in Subtitle Workshop looking as it should (or even remotely fixable). Can the TAW subtitle formats work with any other programs?
