I ham having a problem with the above players playing DVDR's recorded on a Pioneer A03 with "Spruce up" and "Ulead" Authoring software. they refuse to play, The only way to get any success is to use a Verbatim disc. Even that is not Guaranteed.

I gotta say i have heard so many bad posts about pioneer dvd players. It sucks couse I got a pioneer 440. Plays my svcds ok (somewhat even though I need special mjpeg tools software in vcdeasy to play mpeg stills). I want to burn dvds soon and I know Im gonna have problems with my pioneer dvd player.
