  1. I have about seven mpg files that I would like to burn but some of them have non standard screen resolutions and different frame rates. Can some one point me in the direction of a freeware that does it. Tried using TMPGEnc but wouldn't join non standard files. Thanx

  2. Well...thats not weird that TMPGenc doesn't do that...It would amaze me if u would find such a piece of software...

What U can do is reencode them wit TMPGenc....then U can get 1 screenresolution...only the part about getting the framerates has to be solved now....Who want's to give it a try
And yes...we all wear wooden shoes here in Holland...

  3. using tmpgenc I found an option that allows me to change the resolution as well as the frame rates. So I changed everything to 352 by 288 ; 25frs {Pal} but nero still complains that the output file is not standard.

did you check PAL in nero , if so then just tell Nero to stick it and turn off compliance. Burn and test

  5. The problem is if I turn off compliance in Nero the mpeg files won't get re-encoded and I get a VCD disk that won't play on my player.
