i was wondering if anyone could tell me if the "back-up"feature in xp pro will let me restore my computer to a full working state after, say a major crisis. the way i see it, you take a copy of all your system and keep it in another partition to be accessed with a rescue disc in case of emergency. then copy this back-up to your windows folder and hey presto! you're back in business. i dont want to try this till im sure im correct in assuming all this in case i totally balls my puter up and have to reformat and install. any help would be appreciated. thanx.
