    does anyone have any idea on how i can fix the fact that when i watch divx videos the sound is way delayed with the video. and will this affect the vcds i can make with them???????????

    Does the video play in slowmotion while the audio plays like it is supposed to?

    It wont affect VCD if you extract the audio first with Virtual Dub and load video and audio separately into TMPGEnc (if that is what you are using to encode to VCD).
