Copying programme

Does anybody know a good programme for copying VCD/SVCds?
I've tried CD Clone and it just writes 2 tracks like an audio CD, I've also tried using nero and this just crashes at 86% when scanning the disk.
I have a copy of blind write but this no longer works I set it to read the disk, it scans the disk for a few seconds and then rep[orts an error.

Anybody got any ideas.

Sounds like you have a bad VCD, all of those progams copy just fine. You don't need anything special to copy these disks.

Nero at 86% ?
Try copying the .dat file from the disk see if that also fail's

I've tried copying a couple of differnet ones mainly SVCD written using Ulead. and I still get the same results.
I've tried copying the MPEG from the disk then Re authoring it using ULead but it tells me it's not a compatible MPEG, however Nero will accept it.
The problem is My mates DVD player will not work with SVCds burnt with NERO, and I don't want to have to re-encode the mpeg for it to work on ULead as it takes quite a few hours per file as you proabably know.

It's doing my head in.
