    Hello...

This might be interesting for someone, but I am kind of stressed out over this mess Microsoft has made...

A friend of mine created a full length movie using Windows Movie Maker... In actualiy, it is just a movie consisting of stick people that he created in Paint and moved around in Photoshop...

    So, there a four files:

    1. a 1:11 teaser trailer
    2. a 1:48 teaser trailer
    3. a 2:11 full trailer
    4. the 54:30 movie

All of these are in the WMV format. I am trying to convert these to AVI so I can put them on VCDs using nero.

One program I tried, called Stoik Video Converter, converted the 3 trailers into acceptable, but not great quality AVI files. When I tried to do the movie with Stoik, it stopped after 5:50 of movie time.

Wanting the entire movie on the VCD, I then tried using GraphEdit, with the directions here at VCDHelp.com. I was very pleased with the speed it took to convert, but when I viewed the file, it was 7:31 long! The audio played at normal speed, but the video was incredibly slow.

If anyone has any idea why this happened, or a possible solution, please reply!

    Thanks a lot, in advance...

If you can load them into TMPGEnc, you can select File-->Output to File-->Avi.
    Hello.
