    I just got the new Sony 500A and it's pretty kik but so far. But as far as Media goes how do i know what speed any certain DVD media is cabable of? I just got some Memorex 3 DVD-R and 3 DVD-RW no speed listed just the RW's say v.1.1

    All DVD+ Discs are 2.4x, since thats all there is right now...
