Hi
I do not understand what layer 2 audio is or why I would select it . I am using Canopus DVStorm software and have been selecting the wav option.
Is there an advantage in using layer2.
I do not understand AC3 audio either. I have not even seen this option in my software package. From what I have read it will decrease the file size of the project but I do not know how to convert to AC3

wav/pcm is uncompressed(~10MB/mi)n while ac3 and mpeg layer2(1-3MB/s) is compressed, so if you use a compressed audio format you can either use higher video bitrate or store more on the dvd. you can use besweet to convert to ac3 from wav, http://www.vcdhelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=113470&highlight=wav+ac3
