Just wondering what the minimum sytem requirements (RAM, HD, etc) are for converting VHS and camcorder tapes to CD format (VCD/SVCD etc). Probably a silly question but I currently have a Pentium 11, 333 with 64 MB RAM and 4.3 GB HD (don't laugh)! Also, would it help to increase the RAM and HD without upgrading the mother board as I understand that can be quite costly (in Australia at least).
Also, if someone can tell me about a good video capture card for the above purpose. And I was thinking of buying a Lite-On DVD-Rom. Can only find Lite-On 163. not any later version. Any comments about this?
Thanks in advance.

Get a new Computer.
The motherboard is to slow, the CPU to slow,
the HD is to slow (and small) and the memory is to slow.
If you are getting my drift,
it is not worth upgrading any parts on this snail.
Get somthing like a AMD XP1600+ with 256mb DDR memory.
