    The link under the tools section for the Canopus DV Codec is broken. Can someone send it to me or tell me where I can find it.

    Thanks but I already looked there. This is for the "playback only" codec. I need to encode also.

    Give it a try. If I remember correctly, I've installed this playback-only codec on my laptop. I used the Canopus Converter on that laptop, from a MS-DV Codec to Canopus...and it worked.
