hey all...
for some reason, my PowerVCR registry entries are hosed....
I get no Audio Entries at all in the registry..
I tried adding just the 2 edited ones that are talked about, but they dont change anything...My line input still starts at about a level of 3 and I have no Muting available.
Can someone post/email their registry entries so I can manually put them in....I tried uninstalling and deleting the entries to no avail..
thx
Mark

got some of it fixed....totally uninstalled and wiped the registry clean of Cyberlink stuff
still dont have the mute button and when I adjust the Play and Record lines to 10 (a), I lose my configuration setting in PVCR. When I set the configuration back, it reinitializes the registry values.....
Am i supposed to be changing the registry with PVCR running????
thx

Basically no your not!!
Any changes need to be made without the program running.
I have tried the volume changes and they dont work for me. The audio ends up not working. The max file and resolution tweaks work for me but not the audio.
I edit the volume at a later to stage to get it louder.

after looking closer at the registry...it seems that it holds the last value that my Audio Input was set at.....the REC and PLAY line will not hold the value of 10 in the registry, but when you actually close the program down and reopen it, my values are still there....
Also...PVCR is different in the fact that the volume control adjusts the MASTER volume while my old Leadtek software actually adjusted the LINE INPPUT volume.....
Still no mute tho
