Hi guys.
I'm using FlaskMPEG V0.594 to encode my ripped DVD stuff to DivX. It worked fine so far. But somehow - and I don't know why! - I can't adjust the bitrate any longer. I mean it'd a waste to encode a 90 Minute movie with 550 Kbps (resulting in a 550MB file) when teher are 150 more megs on a CDR.
I adjusted the Bitrate in the DivX settings to 900Kbps but with no effect. The compiled DivX file is still at 550Kbps.
Any ideas?
Cheers, Cooch

This is a VCD fourm not a divx forum, try asking your question over at Doom9's someone might have the answer there.

chkout the divx4 guide at http://www.doom9.org. also chkout the divx encoding forum at http://www.divx.com. if u use the latest build (17
of the codec, u an exactly fit a movie in a 700MB CD. i have made amazing divx rips using the 2-pass encoding.
