Hi folks,
I have recently been creating VCD's and having no problems until I accidently tried to burn a 739mb file onto a 700mb CD-R. I was using VCDeasy.
Of course I received some error messages and ever since then my entire CD-RW/DVD system is not working.
My problem is that no matter what disc I put in the tray my computer tells me that there is no disc!! (audio,CD-R, DVD-Nothing works!)
I can't even reinstall Windows XP because I can't use my CD-ROM.
I have tried to update the drivers and I've also uninstalled and reinstalled VCDeasy but I have no idea what to do now.
Please, please, please.
Any help would be so greatly appreciated.

Since a 700MB cd-rom = 80 minutes = 800MB of mpeg ( really, check the FAQ about sector size and the like ) any damage to your system could only have been coincidence. I've had burners just go like that in the past it's a PITA, but it happens.
