I'm sure I'm in the wrong forum but I'm desperate for advice.

I'm buying an Athlon 1800 XP in order to speed up my encoding times but I need to know a couple of things
1. Best mobo and chipset to get (Thinking KT333A).
2. SDRam or DDR (Thinking DDR).

I'm asking you lot cos' It's a bit of a specific question and the encoding speed is a bit of a priority.

I reckon I'm going to be moved somewhere but thanks for reading anyhow.
