  1. Do people really pay 2 grand to buy CCE or are they just living with the logo? I switched to tmpg because the CCE logo was a little much for my taste!

As an aside...I did my first rip using DVD2SVCD using TPMG(?) as the encoder and was pretty happy with it. I only did 10 minutes because I wanted to make sure I was doing things correctly.

    Nice forum!

CCE does produce excellent output on MPEG-2. Buisnesses that need only the best pay for CCE. It's cheap compared to some of the hardware based encoder that cost at least as much. With the right hardware it's realtime or better.

No, most (not all people) are using a warez'd copy of the program.

  4. Quite a few people were at one stage able to get a particular trial version
of CCE with a seperate program to remove that logo - hence they
    did not pay for it!

Do not ask for a copy as it is against the law and against forum rules to
ask, give or post a link to warez.

  5. How long does the trial last and where exactly does the logo appear on the screen?

  6. The big! logo is on the bottom of the screen. Mostly in the black bar. For my opinion its too big to bear it.
