  1. I am having a problem converting with Cinema Craft Encoder SP. I'm trying to convert a movie, but I keep getting the same error message:

"Frame rate 29970/2000 is not supported. Supported frame rate are 23.976, 24,25,29.97,30,50,59.94, and 60."

I also use TMPGEnc Plus to convert .avi movies but they are too choppy and they freeze alot.

Also, how do I convert an .asf file to mpeg? I tried using TMPGEnc Plus, but it don't work it stalls at the beginning.

Can someone help me with this problem?

    Thanks for your help.

this is not really a problem on CCE's part - it simply is not designed to accept non-standard video frame rates.

converting asf's is always very difficult - you could try a ASF hacked version of VirtualDub to frameserver the ASF or re-save it as a Avi

If it's an avi, you can change the framerate with Virtualdub. However, this will lengthen or shorten the video part, so you will need to extract the audio as uncompressed wav and adjust the length by the same amount. This is easily achieved with Soundforge or Cooledit.

  4. As Banjazzer said or use the ASSUMEfps command using avisynth
    to frameserve to CCE.
