I have come up with a much easer way to copy a movie, or anything from a Video Tape to a DVD up to 5 hours long. I had a Pioneer DVD- in my computer, but it took so long to compress, it was really flustrating!
I went out and bought a Philips DVD985 Recorder, with the option of trying it out for 7 days. It uses DVD+RW, and you can set it to record up to 5 hours. So, once you record say, a Movie in real time, you then place the DVD+ in the DVD- Pioneer recorder, and use Decrypter to transfer it to the DVD-, which is much cheaper then the DVD+.
No matter how big the program is, (up to 5 hours) It will fit on a DVD- disk! And that part takes about 1 hour.
It is a round about way to do it, and of course you need both recorders, but its so much easyer to do. And the quality is very good!
