If you are de-multiplexing a VCD movie in TMPGenc you get a a video file and an Audio file. each with a different file extention. For example if you might ge a audio file as a mp2 or mpa file... if you then want to edit it and save the file as a wave, you'll need to convert the wave into a mp2 or mpa file again... of course!

If you used Virtual Dub to extract the Audio you probably got a wave file.. huh? You'll need to convert it back to the VCD audio format... do that with TMPGenc and choose ONLY AUDIO during convert, then you can Single Multiplex them with MPEG TOols in TMPGenc.

    get it?

    Thanx/

  3. You can use TMPGEnc to encode the separate video and audio files to MPG which i assume is what you want
