Hello, I'm seriously thinking about getting a Canopus ADVC-100 capture card and I was wondering what kind of firewall anyone could suggest I use (as I don't have one yet). Also, if I copy a three hour tape onto my harddrive from a VHS tape about how much space is that going to take up?

I think you mean "firewire" - a firewall is a defense tool to protect a mahcine or network from the outside world.
And most firewire cards work OK with the Canopus - The Soundblast Audigy card has a firewire port that has been successfully tested with the Canopus products
