burn or media problem?

i have just ripped to films from the vobs using dvddecripter, i created the ifo's in ifoedit and burned it with nero, the problem is that the film stops at each chapter point, im not sure if this a error by me or because of the media that i am using?

can no-one offer me any advice? what media is considered the best? im using a ps2 to play it on
