  1. im trying to combine two avi files but i get an audio bitrate error message. how do i get the audio to be the same on each half so i can combine the two into one. [/b]

  2. u might have to re-encode the avi's with virtual dub so that you can merge them together properly.

  3. i know how to extract the audio in virtual dub with the audio set at 44100. when im done how do i combine the new wav file and the video files back together.

    How you do this really depends on what your ultimate aim is. If you are keeping it as DivX, then you really want your audio back as mp3. In which case, load avi in Virtualdub. Video> direct stream copy. Audio>full processing mode. Browse to wav and then set compression to mp3. Or, if you want to keep the size down, convert wav to ABRor CBR mp3. Load avi into Nandub. Video>direct stream copy. Audio>direct stream copy and select mp3 file.

    If your aim is converting to another format, and you are not concerned about filesize, you can interleave the avi with the uncompressed wav with Nandub, by the same method as used with mp3.
