    hey, gotta question..

I have video's on my hard drive.. and I want to bring them into Adobe Preimere..and After Efffects and make them look really really cool and all..

But in the long run, I gotta put them on a DVD..but all I have is a 32x CD BURNER..

Can I still go out and get the dvd dics and burn from my CD BURNER? or do I have to go out and buy a whole dvd burner?

anyone out there that can tell me what I need to do?

    thanks!

um... to make DVD's you need a DVD writer

But wait until after Christmas, the price should be much lower then, unless you know Santa personally

    Conman,
I hear prices on dvd burners are coming down.. so I would take KingJohns adive on waiting till after Christmas to buy one (that's what I am doing).

But in case you don't know, - you can for the meantime, instead of DVD's, use your regular cd burner to make VCD's which play fine on many dvd players.. try searching your model in the DVD compatibilty section of this website to make sure..

then go to the excellent tutorials here , which also has links to the conversion software (I would suggest TMPG, it worked great for me and it has a free download)
