    hi what does it mean when dvd/rw driv is locked or unlocked? what does it mean when it is locked and what does it mean when it is unlocked? how do i make it locked or unlocked? does it matter if it is locked or unlocked?

    What are you referring to, dude? The locked/unlocked settings in TMPGenc?? Give more details, where this "locked" message appears.

    MrMochila,

    Normally what this means is that your DVD drive had not loaded the DVD. Try playing the DVD in the drive for a few seconds, this will unlock the drive and you will now be able to rip the movie.
