can anyone tell me if there are any programs for MICRO MV editing?

I don't own one, so take it for what its worth, but I would stay away from MicroMV and stick with established MiniDV or Digital8 formats.
MicroMV is basically a proprietary tape-based MPEG-2 format at 12Mb/s with cassettes about half the size of standard MiniDV tapes.
I guess the smaller physical size is a plus, but you are still dealing with a tape based format. If I was going to go with an MPEG-2 based cam I would sooner get one that is DVD based to get rid of tape hassles.
Sony also claims quality comparable to DV, but my guess is that like most consumer level MPEG-2 realtime encoding, the quality won't be as good. Further, MPEG is harder to edit than DV because of the interdependencies between frames (GOP structure).
Anyway to answer your question, I know Sony bundles a basic editing program with those cameras but I don't know for sure if you can use standard video editors like MediaStudio etc with MicroMV footage. A quick search on Google or Sony should turn up some info for you.
