    Hello!
I am using CCE to encode in DVD (MPEG-2) format from DV format. CCE gives me better quality (less blockiness) than TMPGEnc in same conditions (full DVD resolution, 6 Mbit/s CBR).
But today I encoded one title that have fade in from black and CCE gave me blockiness and TMPGEnc did not? Why the hell is that? On links below you can download video clip coded in MPEG-2 format, full DVD resolution, CBR 6 Mbit/s and, please, give me your oppinion why the picture is worse with CCE.
Both files are coded with same conditions and they are about 1MB big (each).

    TMPGEnc encoder:

    Thanks for your help...
