I am in the process of transferring my DV footage onto my PC, editing it and converting it to SVCD.

I have found that after the convertion to MPEG2 (using TMPGEnc) I have a logo which looks like a 3x3 block of squares at the top right of the picture.

Its not there in the original DV footage..

I am not sure if TMPGenc is adding this 'logo' or whether its my MPEG2 decoder (Player) which is adding this on playback only.

Does anyone know where it comes from?

  2. If you've installed the Elecard MPEG-2 player, the Elecard MPEG-2 codec becomes the default and will overlay that little block of squares on playback.

  3. I had this logo when I played the MPEG-2 on my computer. It is inserted by the MPEG-2 decoder (free sample) during play.

It should not be there when you play the burned CD in the DVD player.
