Is there anyway arouind this? I am trying to capture pics from an NBA hi-fi video on my Digital8 camera (through RCA) and it keeps saying COPY INHIBIT.
Is there anyway I can get around this? Someone said Hi8 tapes are the solution, but I tried them and I get the same error.
Is there anyway around this, so I can capture pics and archive this NBA video?
Any help would be great
thanks

If I understand your question you're trying to copy(capture) a VHS tape to a camcorder. There are "black boxes" available that when inserted between the player and recorder will eliminate the macrovision encodeing.
The other poster is correct Hi8 vcr's will automatically eliminate macrovision. -
Macrovision is not your immediate problem. DVD's sold in the U.S. also have a digital copy protection system(CGMS) which cannot be defeated by conventional macrovision elimininator's.
