  1. I have a hp dvd writer dvd 200i, I am converting my vhs collection to dvd, I am using the software that came with the burner (sonic my dvd) I have a jvc svhs hooked up to my dazzle hollywood bridge which is hooked to my pc via 1394 firewire. The sonic software works great about 3 out of 5 times in the direct to disk option. I put the tape in and hit play, I hit the record button on the sonic software and about 5 hours later I return to a burned dvd with what I think is very good quality. The issue is the other two times, after I start the process it captures, gets the files, plans the video, then plans the audio, then on the last step (about 4 hours worth of time) just before it starts to burn I get this error. "sample rate (*picture_width*height*frame_rate) is greater than permitted in specified level" can anyone tell me what I might do or change to eliminate the problem, it's a drag to lose 4 hours of work.
Also, my pc runs very slow after I make a dvd in the manner above, I have to shut it down for at least a half hour after I'm done then reboot to get it back to normal, whats up with that?
    Thanx in advance.

The sample rate needs to be 48000Hz in order to be DVD compliant.

    Hope That Helps!!! :P
