I'm not too sure what you mean by that. Could you rephrase that a little better. Asi have already stated, i'm not a computer whiz, so i don't know that much about computers.

  5. what movie(or whatever it is) did you burn?

you can try to extract the audio from the movie(or whatever it is) then edit it.

  6. If you downloaded this movie, and its some guy with a camera in a movie theater, then there will probobly be a echo... If it is that, ther isnt anything you can do about it...

I'm not sure if it was just some guy with a camera inside a theater. I sure hope it isn't. I havea movie that was done by a camera and it doens't have any echo in that one. So how come this one does? Thanks for your help anyways.

What is bad about the sound?

Ones you have made a MPEG of the film, it's easily done in TMPGenc/MPEG TOOLS to Sigle De-multiplex it, that means you split the MPEG file into a Videofile and an Audio file... . the Audio file will be MP2 I think. Or maybe MPA. Don't remember. well.. then just edit the Sound... You'll probably need to make that mp2 file into an WAVE (will be a few GIG depending on length of movie. Its' easily done with Winamp Diskwriter Output Plugin.

I have no idea what you wanan do with the audio but I usually do this to spread the stereo or just increase the volyme or remove certain frequenses... use a WAVE edit program like Sonic Foundry's Sound Forge... or Stenbergs Wavelab... those are good and probably ruling the market today when it comes to amateur wave-editing.

Then... save the NEW fixed WAVE... encode ONLY AUDIO in TMPGenc so that it's back to a mp2 or whatever.. then you use TMPGenc/MPEG TOOLS to Sigle Multiplex it again.. and BAM... you'll have a the same movie with different sound.. .and you won't need to reencode the whole damn moive. The sound it much faster to encode.

What out for out of sync things, do NOT remove anypart of the sound. I mean do not jerk around with the length of the file.

    Do you understand?

Now... I can try explaining what to do with the audio in detail if you tell me what the problem is. What is it that sounds bad! If the movie is filmed with a CAM in the theatre.. there's not very much to do except Noise filtering and spread the sound... but there's not gonna be any DTS , 5:1 stuff okay

  11. What's wrong with the audio is that it's very muffled and it has a weird echo to it. It sounds awful. I watch my VCD's on my standalone DVD player. How do i edit the sound? using Virtual Dub or something else? The programs i need to edit the WAVE file, do i have to buy them or can i d/l it? I'm not sure if it was filmed with a cam or not. I sure hope it wasn't. Thanks for your help so far. I would appreciate it if you were to help me again.

    Thanks a million
