  1. Is this possible ?
I know that S-VCD uses Mode 2 to burn info on Cds...
So , if using an 80' / 700 Mb CD it should allow me around 785 Mb...
I'm trying to burn an MPEG-2 movie of 735MB and Nero tells me that there is not enough space in destination CD.
All preferences are set correctly....expert features as well...
When I select Super VCD , the MODE 1 / 2 is greyed (MODE 2 is preselected)....so I'm expecting more data on CD....

Could someone help me with this issue ?

  2. Try muxing the file to Super VCD format. Follow the steps below in the order listed:

    1. open TMPGEnc and select 'MPEG Tools...'

    2. select 'Simple Multiplex' tab

    3. load your movie into the Video Input line
(the audio and output line should fill automatically)

    4. change the output file name
(do not use the same name as the input file)

    5. set the Type to "MPEG-2 Super VideoCD (VBR)"

    6. click Run

This new file should burn correctly. Basically, your file may not have the correct packet size.

  3. Thanks wway for your help..
Actually I did not used MPEG-2 Super VCD in the encoding process (just MPEG-2 Program VBR)....I'll try your suggestion with the file I have.
If it works in the next one I will use directly Super VCD in the encoding.
    I'll let you know.
