    Hi,

    I'm trying to backup one of my DVD's. I'm using smart ripper and DVDx 2.0. However when i actually backed it up, the divx was too dark. How do i increase the brightness? I've also got VirtualDub and TMPGEnc.

    You may find that when it plays on a DVD player it will be just right !!

    You can use TMPGEnc > setting > advance > simple colour correction

    Or Vdub > filters > add > brightness contrast

    In DvdX, > input settings you can also select luminance filter (Top right) try 200
