    Hi !

Just bought 5 90min cds, heard they would work with any burner. But when i put the cds in the cd recorder and check how big the cd is it's only 96mb ? Have looked for firmware upgrades with no luck.My cd recorder is a Sony CRX145E.Tried several burning programs on my computer nero/winoncd/easy cd and all say that the cd is only 96mb.
Really annoying that they don't work ... Maybe somebody can give me a direct link to firmware upgrade or any other tip.

    Thanks in advanced

hello i have plextore 16x10x40 and when i check it with nero it says that it has overburn capability! u mast have overburn capability in order to use cd>80min
when i check 90 min cd with nero it says 700 mb but this doesnt matter. use the experts mode in nero
(file>prefernce>expert mode) and anable the overburning then try to burn with the disc at once metode after it start it will ask u to confirm overburning confirm and it will be o.k

i just started using the overburn capability of my burner with some 80min discs using Nero. really nice for getting that extra 5-10mb of mpeg on a disc.

i've got an older version of Nero, v5.0.18, and when i use cdr info, Nero correctly tells me the capacity for 80min discs, about 79mins and 797mb. that's interesting that it would only show a 700mb capacity for the 90min discs. i guess Nero is only reporting info that the device/driver is returning. it's probably a function of the device's firmware.
