Convert from svcd to single mpeg

Hi!
I'm pretty new at this...but i borowed a svcd from a friend.
Now i want to convert it back to a single mpeg file, like it is before you burn it.

I too have wondered how to do this as VCDGear won't and no SVCDGear is available <grin>. Anyhow I found this:

and scroll all the way down to additional tricks. Download the HView2000, copy the mpg file from your MPEG2 directory to your hard drive (don't forget to change the attribute read only!) and change the startup code in hex as suggested - it works great.
