Sorry for not looking around for the answer to this but how the hesk do you fix bad packets in a MPEG. I've looked everywhere for the software to solve this with no luck. Thanks in advance for any help!!!

Well, it has never happened to me that there are bad frames in an MPEG file... I usually cut them out in the AVI file... Never had experience with that problem... and i don't think any1 else has...

Don't be so sure, El Torro. Some of us have HW MPEG encoders and no .avi file ever. Sometimes corrupted files just happen. How to fix them don't know. Asked same question couple of days ago and got no answer. As about cutting them out ... not a solution, as there will be jump in audio and sometimes whole GOP is corrupted due to corrupted I. So question remines and is bumped once again.

i have had this problem before. if memory serves me correctly,you just have to encode your file again 8)
