Why are you asking us? You have the equipment. Just hook up a TV and see if it does work. Report back your results at your earliest convienence.

  3. Lol well I haven't exactly installed the drive yet but figured was much faster for someone on boards to say "yes". I just read on the back of my Ti4400 card that you can play games on big screen.

  4. Yes, you can. My PC is my only DVD player, and it is two rooms away from my TV, but even through a 30-foot S-video cable, it looks great. Only difference is that I use a Radeon 8500, but the oprinciple is the same

  6. I've had several decoder cards, including a Hollywood Plus and a DXR3, the DVD quality coming out of my Radeon to my very decent TV is much better than the seperate decoders, and I don't have to put up with the nasty 2D distortion caused by those dadmned VGA pass-through cables. Granted, the quality of the MPEG2 decoder nd the TV out of the Ti4400 isn;t going to look as nice as an ATi, but it will still look a hell of alot better than a Hollywood Plus.

    Just my 2cnts
