I BEEN looking to for days for the answer but still cant find it ...first im using tmpgenc and i want to make a vcd pal but everytime i try to make it the background and the colored part got alot of squares in it but the original doesnt thats for people who say you cant make add nothing to the original no im ust try to make it look as good as the avi does but i keep getting squares in the background like it looks like crap i was just wondering is there a way to fix this im got a labtop and another question is how do i speed up the picture and audio so it looks like a video is there a number i put in the audio bitrate or something please help me i would greatly appreciate it ..

Sounds like your picture is becomming pixelated. In other words you can actually see the pixels in the picture. Maybe try increasing the bitrate. I ran into some problems when more action came into play the higher the bitrate, the less pixelly with more action. Also are you watching the finished vcd on TV or your Monitior? And is the mpeg "Interlaced" or "Non-Interlaced"
