Howdy Folks,
I am thinking of getting a new DVD player as my old Panasonic RV31K leaves
much to be desired.
Being that many videophiles are on this forum I thought I'd ask here for the
best opinions.
Basically, I need a player that can do everything flawlessly...
Built-in 5.1 Dolby Digital Decoder, DVDR Playback, VCD,SVCD,XVCD,XSVCD,CVD etc.
I prefer to go with a reputable name brand.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
BTW, I've heard rumors that the Panasonic RV31k can play Verbatim and
Pioneer DVDR media, can anyone confirm or deny this?
I am in the USA
Thanks!
Milan

Last night I did some research and discovered JVC's XV-SA600BK
http://www.jvc.com/product.jsp?modelId=MODL026936
The JVC player has many appealing features.
Does anyone have this player? If so, what is your opinion
of the XV-SA600BK?
Does it have a dolby digital 5.1 decoder? A built in 5.1 DD decoder is a must for me.
I haven't seen it listed on thevcdhelp.com DVD player list yet. I assume
it's a fairly new player.
Thanks!
