Player advice needed

Hello people,

I am looking for a DVD player with the following minimum specs:

* Region code free (including RCE), Macrovision free
* Can play NTSC recordings on PAL TV, dual voltage
* Can play VCD, SVCD, MP3 and JPEG pictures

Any recommendations (preferrably models available in Canada)?

if yer gonna get a player you should also consider if it plays dvd-audio discs as well. the platform should take off reletively soon.

Thanks for the advice but I don't need that particular functionality.

What I do need is a player that I can give to my parents to watch rental movies as well as photos/videos of their grandchildren. Problem is I'm in 110v/60Hz/NTSC-land while they are in 220v/60Hz/PAL-city

So, the requirements are: an inexpensive player that can play region 1 NTSC and region 2 PAL disks on a 220v PAL system with reasonable quality and support VCD/SVCD and JPEG. MP3 and Macro-free are nice to have.

A guy in another forum suggested Sampo 631CF.
Cany anyone second / dispute / recommend an alternative?[/i]
