I have had no trbl ripping dvds till i tried to rip a dvd-r that i burnt wit nero..... i am rippin it cause nero dont alllow u to play the dvdr in all set tops so i was gonna rip it to burn it wit primo dvd..... wll when i try to rip it ...... it wont rip vob3 or vob4 giving me a " failed to read sector - illegal mode for this track" and " cant copy vts_01_3.vob" .... i got this error tryin to rip it wit dvd decryptor...... when i try wit smart ripper it just sits there and dont do nothing..... i no its prob something to do wit nero...... can anyone got another program that can help me out???!!!!!?!?!?!?!??!?!!?

  2. Just copy the VIDEO_TS folder over to the hard drive. If you get read errors you got a problem. Try a different DVD drive if you have one.

  3. i tried just copyin it over and it still came up wit a error... i tried da dvd drive and dvd burner..... the only thing i got left is tryin it on my laptop...... i hope that works

    it has errors on the disk and is pretty well toast -- prob why it wouldnt play in the first place ..

  5. i tried it on my laptop and other computer and it wont ripped those 2 files.... the thing is tht it plays in the ps2 and all my computers but not in my other 3 systems (thats because it was burn wit GARBAGE ASS NERO) but i am tryin to rip the files off..... it wont even copy to the hard drive.......

    Has it played on other standalones? If not and it only played on computer systems then it probably was never recorded properly in the first place. Remeber PC's are a little bit more forgiving than standalone dvd players as far as in errors so I've heard

    Just about Nero: i burn all my dvds with nero through UDF/ISO an i have never had any problems with then playing on set top dvd players. I drag and drop the VIDEO_TS file and AUDIO_TS (if there is one) and burn no problems.

  8. yea... this particular one plays just in the ps2 and the computer and laptop.... but not other ones...... thats because it was burn wit nero though....... but the movie plays fine wit no prob in those particular player.......
