i have just converted my first film onto a vcd, the problem is that the picture looks quite blocky in places, it seems fine when i play it on my small pc screen, but on a large tv is shows up quite bad, i have used tmpge to convert it, can anyone tell me if there are any settings in this program that may help reduce this problem, i have motion search set to highest quality but i dont know what else to try????
thanks pete![]()

i downloaded as an avi file, then converted using tmpge, and then burned using nero, but the avi file was good quality and when i play the mpeg file on the pc its not bad, but no as good as the original avi file, thats why i believe it has lost someting during the conversion, i know you do loose a bit of quality but i was just hoping that there maybe another little trick that will make it better.???
