  1. What's the easiest way to make a VCD of a Glide game?

I don't know much about Video Capture and the like but from what I've read it seems that I should get a TV out Glide Video card... ie V3500TV (which just happens to be available 2nd hand from a nearby shop).

and then record it to VCR and then do TV capture to mpg?

Would this work, and what sort of quality would it look like? ie worth it for game tutorials so people can watch playbacks of gameplay if I send them a CD.

    My main questions are:

Will Glide Game- > TV out work with a V3500TV so I can record it to tape?
Is the V3500TV any good for the VCR TV capture from the tape I record?
Should I try and find a good TV capture card so I can make a VCR?
    Software, what's needed?

Any help/suggests would be greatly appreciated.

You need to do this with 2 PC.
PC1 with the game runing output SVideo.
    a SVideo cable conn PC1 to PC2
PC2 for captureing the clips SVideo input.
for audio PC1 spk output to PC2 audio line-in.

  3. 2 PC's? Is that better than output to TV and then saving to VCR tape and then trying TV video cap.

  5. Ok, duly noted.

What kind of processor and hardward would PC2 need. Is P 266 Mhz good enough (My 2nd PC)?

    Oh everyone is laughing.

Humm, any suggestion of the best way to achieve above goals with just one PC (PIII 800)?
