Hi, can someone give me some clues on how I can convert vhs to dvd-r? I can't seem to find it anywhere on this site. I think I need a card with video-in, but then what? I want to make sure I can actually do it before investing in a capturing device. suggestions please?

buy a capture device with whatever inputs your vcr output is (usually RCA)
an ATI TV wonder is prolly the cheapest way, and the capture software is included (ATI MMC)

ps- (I have done what you want to do, in case you were wondering)
