hey, i am really a newbie in this sort of topic. I need the cheepest camcorder because i am just staring out. I don't need a camcorder that gives me good quality, only something i can manage and play around with it.
(i'm also low on $$$$$)....LOL!
Any suggestions for an amature?
THANKS

You might want to try a pawn shop. I just bought a JVC GR-AX750 with 300x zoom for 50 bucks at Best Buy. But hears the deal. Camcorder was a floor model. NO ACCESSORIES with it. Camcorder 50, battery 40, battery charger 45, tapes for it 6, VHS tape to play the small tapes 20. When I finished my ticket was around 180 bucks. List price I've seen for it is 250. It is good quality and I like it. My suggestion is to try Best Buy and look for floor models if you can do without the straps and cables.
